What We're Trying to Do:
Even used Gretsch Custom Shop guitars sell for $5,000 and more on eBay and Reverb; new they are $7,500 to more than $10,000!! I want to build very special Jet type guitars (and some others from time to time) for people who can't afford those stratospheric prices - less than One Quarter of those new prices.
I love the Gretsch Round Up Jets of the 1950's. Though then never made a Double Cut version - which they should have. But then I make them better than they came from Gretsch. Beautiful wood and shell inlay, front and back. Top of the line pick ups (normally TV Jones). Schaler tuning machines. Top of the line potentiometers and switches - along with all new wiring.
